Economical - not cheap
Lamm Technical Resources deals only with name-brand hardware and software providers, and we design networks using the accepted best practices of the IT industry. Why do we do business that way? To insure that our clients have vendor independence. When you try to save a few bucks by purchasing custom-built, or "white box" computers, you are now stuck with the company you bought them from for your warranty service. And you have no way of knowing if the actual system design meets all the requirements of your various software types - requirements necessary to receive support from the software provider. At Lamm Technical Resources, we want our clients to rely on us for service and support because we are serving them well - not because they are artificially tied to us through restricted warranties and non-standard installations. Best practices and name brands may make us a little more expensive up front. But over the life of your network, those two philosophies can save you lots of headaches, and a lot of money.
